Barbara’s practice emphasizes complex white-collar criminal defense, and includes internal investigations, witness representation, and civil government investigations involving health-care fraud and False Claims Act allegations.
Before joining the firm, Barbara practiced at Dubitzky & Zarky, P.S. defending federal white-collar criminal investigations, and concentrating in federal health care cases.
Barbara graduated from Northeastern University School of Law in 1993. She served as an extern for U.S. District Court Judge William Dwyer and as an intern with Sierra Club Legal Defense Fund. Her undergraduate degree in History is from Boston University, where she graduated magna cum laude.
Barbara is former president of the Friends of the Seattle Public Library and remains actively involved with library issues.
