Michelle's practice concentrates on employment-related litigation, including claims involving state and federal discrimination and whistleblower laws. Michelle also assists businesses and individuals in responding to government enforcement activities, including white collar criminal prosecutions, civil enforcement actions and government investigations.
Michelle began her law practice in Minnesota as a law clerk to the United States District Judge Richard H. Kyle. Prior to joining Yarmuth Wilsdon Calfo in 2003, Michelle practiced at Lane Powell Spears Lubersky in Seattle.
Michelle graduated magna cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2000, where she was elected to the Order of the Coif, was a managing editor of the Journal of Global Trade and taught introductory legal writing. She received her undergraduate degree in communication with an emphasis in political science from Seattle Pacific University.
