Matt's practice is focused on trial and appellate litigation on behalf of individual and corporate clients, including securities and corporate governance disputes, government investigations, class actions, professional malpractice suits, and other commercial litigation.
Before joining Yarmuth Wilsdon Calfo, Matt practiced litigation with Heller Ehrman and Gibson Dunn & Crutcher. He is also a former law clerk to Chief Judge Robert S. Lasnik of the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington.
Matt received a J.D. from Columbia University School of Law in 1997, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, and an A.B. in International Relations and Political Science from Brown University in 1994.
Matt serves as President of the Board of Directors of Richard Hugo House, Seattle's literary arts center.
